Curious about who started Camp Gedi?
Camp Gedi was founded by the Gedi Foundation, an organization that aims to establish Toronto as a hub for world-class education. Our primary goal is to champion and support innovative and entrepreneurial ideas related to SEL and academic learning from students, caregivers, educators and the wider community. Using an Intentional Philanthropy Model, the foundation’s first project will be to found a communal learning facility called Gedi Village. Picture a cutting-edge facility located in the west end of Toronto, equipped with a K-8 elementary school, a professional development centre for educators and caregivers, and a philanthropic foundation disseminating the research beyond the confines of the building.
