What has my attention right now.

A /now page tells you what I’ve been up to recently and what I have been thinking about.

01

Trying to understand what holds me back from fiction.

I feel like I have really amazing stories to tell, and I keep wondering why fiction can still feel so hard to enter. I am enormously grateful for Laura, for her patience, and for the way we keep finding our way through Finding Lola together.

02

Still obsessed with cofounding.

I continue to be obsessed with cofounding: what it means to build something with another person, and how to do it well. Right now, I want to be the best cofounder I can be for Ashley and Jocelyn.

03

Feeling the need for Camp Gedi all year.

An unbelievable letter from a camper’s parent last week has been a catalyst. It has my wheels turning about what Camp Gedi could become beyond the summer. Summer 2026 has ended, and I am struck by how much this work is needed beyond those six weeks. Camp Gedi cannot only belong to summer.

04

Grieving summer, a little.

We had wonderful cousin time at Duclos Point and one last proper summer swim. I can feel the joy I had in June for warm weather and lake time beginning to turn toward sweaters and cosy drink walks. I am ready for what comes next, but I am grieving summer too.

Come talk to me about:

Women’s health, building companies that serve charitable missions, luck, unconventional lives, or an idea you cannot fully explain yet.
